Hi Guys
This has probably been asked before but I moved away for the qashqai just over a year ago as had the j10 but I’ve now got a 2017 j11 and I’m wondering how can you manually adjust the heater fan speed as when I start the car it kicks in at whatever speed it is set at but after 10secs or so it then reverts back to climate control, can this be switched off and fan used manually and am I doing something wrong :?: :?:
Cheers

You can switch the auto off but fan still fades away, it’s booked back into dealer where I got it from as under warranty as I’m starting to think it might be the heater fan resistor as you can’t alter the speed at all

Its controlled by many sensors and a processor that amongst other things drives an electronic speed regulator for the Blower. There is no fan resistor...just imagine this HAC system as mainly digital. A-D, Control Processor, D-A. Its not up for DIY testing/fixing...unfortunately.

Let us know the dealer results please
