Well, after 2 1/2 years and 57,000 miles it's time to say goodbye to my Tekna Xtronic 1600 diesel. The car has been the most unreliable car I have ever owned. 2 new gearboxes at 3,500 and 8,000 miles, a corroded abs connector, front suspension issues  and numerous squeaks and rattles have seen the car in the garage for 4 of the last 28 months. I won't be buying Nissan again. Back to BMW .... New X1 on order.

Sadly I have been a long supporter of Japanese brands ( I owned a Nissan for 10 years and never gave me a problem. Of course this was a "Japanese" car I mean manufactured in Japan.
Now here in EU I own the new Qashqai made in UK plants and the quality and finishing is the worse that I have seen in many years.
Sad to see how a great brand like NISSAN gets corroded by a factory not living to the standards of its brand.
