Had a call from the dealer going in tomorrow to have an updated Sat Nav SD card fitted.
QQ 1.5dci Tekna 2016 Magnetic Red
QQ 1.5dci Tekna + 2019 Magnetic Red
QQ 1.5 e-power Tekna 2024 Fuji Sunset Red.

I bet they don't fit the latest, it seems from many posts that they are usually 1 revision out of date.

Post the details of the card version on here. If it's not the latest, you can always buy the latest from black_rojer on here and then flog your old one on ebay, usually for an equivalent amount to what you would have paid so you are quids in.

Just had the latest Maps fitted.


The dealer tells me that Nissan have just changed their policy on map updates and I was the first person, from their dealership, to benefit from the change

The dealer told me that Nissan will now provide a map update every year FREE whilst the car is UNDER WARRANTY, the map updates usually come out in December every year so probably 1 update per year whilst the car is under warranty. The dealer takes your old SD card and gives you a new one.

I am only repeating what I have been told and do not know if the policy change applies to other countries, if your car is under warranty it's worth contacting your dealer :D

The box that the SD card came in states Europe V2 and has "Not for Sale - only for map care program" written on it. The update I was given will be last Decembers (2016 ) release


The nav system gives these details it looks to be the latest release

Those of us with earlier registrations won't be included I guess; mine came out of warranty in May.
As a matter of interest, would be interested to know if you input RG14 1LA as a destination, and you ask it for POI's near
your destination, whether it still lists an ESSO station here; closed 12 years ago; been an Aldi for 8!
I bought new card last year, and was disappointed to see ESSO still wrongly shown.

I was outside Barclays in Hawes (Wensleydale) having got some cash, and thought I'd check my Connect POI's for local Banks & ATM Categories. My 2016 card showed nearest at some 18 miles distance; there's also an HSBC in Hawes; disappointingly, inaccurate.

With regards to your enquiry about the vehicles GPS navigational system, I have investigated your query and I can confirm the following information:

Nissan is giving free map updates to vehicles that have their registration date from 1st of may 2016 till present. I checked your vehicle profile and your vehicle does not fall within the vehicle range for free map updates .

I have provided a link below to their website that will enable you to check this update as soon as it becomes available or alternatively, they can be purchased at your local Nissan dealership.
