Den, give this post information a read for feedback, there are a load of facts with different titles here. We have Nissan Velour for our QQ J11A for the Summer & Nissan Rubber for the Winter, but we do live in Berlin and the weather is different - Dave ;)

Official Nissan J11 velour mats have the padded foot rest in the wrong place, so this happens... Didn't realise till it was too late so it's worn through the actual carpet too (which means the padded bit on the carpet itself is also in the wrong place).

I have the original Nissan rubber mats. In my opinion, you are better off with cheaper after market ones. I am on my third set of mats as on driver's side, it disintegrates as I press the clutch. The 3rd set is also torn & Nissan have refused warranty apparently its too many claims on the same object !!!

Den, ours are 3,5 years old and still OK but only used for 6 months of the year as we use Rubber during the winter. You will find it depends on the mileage (ours is not so high), I usually drive in the summer in Sport Shoes which most probably tends to protect the carpet and the debris, dirt, stones etc cleaned regularly. This is Just my experience - Dave ;)

I have the deluxe velour ones with aftermarket rubber ones added in winter (Aldi - £5.95)

Got a set of fitted rubber ones from Amazon with a corrugated metal type effect designed in the rubber. Much prefer rubber mats as they can be easily cleaned.
