Hi guys,

I am at 149.000km and time for cam belt exchange is coming up.
In Denmark they mention Polybelt, waterpump and camshaft belt. 800€
In Germany they only change camshaft belt. 450€
In Poland they mention waterpump and camshaft belt 1700zl = 410€ + Polybelt = 430€

All are Nissan dealers and workshops - the price difference doesn't surprise me, but the procedure and opinion on what to change surprised me a lot.

I have the Tekna model, with Aircon - so I would guess the Polybelt get exchanged as well - I am trying to find out what is recommended - what do you guys say? :)

Thanks!

I've recently read that the auxiliary belt should be changed at the same time as the cam belt and it's always good advice to change the water pump too if it's buried in the engine and replacement would require the cam belt taking off in any case.

This chap does that and looks like non OEM parts? Its an expensive game and its change everything while you are there in my experience.
