Hi. Any recommendations for a set of scuff plates front and rear. Don’t fancy paying Nissan prices!!

Thanks

Peter, we had installed in our J11A model the Nissan Illuminated Kick Plates Front & Rear, OK yes expensive but they do look good at night with the Friendly Lighting. We ordered these again for the J11B Tekna + but now Nissan only supply Fronts. I had a bit of a Moan and our Sales Guy bought a New Complete Set from VMaxx Germany, he kept the Front ones and installed the Rear ones in our QQ. The quality is good, info in German, they do speak English as I have dealt with them before on our Juke.
Naturally the other option is the web or AliExpress, VMaxx are not Illuminated though - Dave 😉

I got some cheap stainless steel aftermarket ones on Amazon - seemed fine. £27.99

No longer available - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VM7FZGY/ ... TE_3p_dp_1

The only precaution I took was filing down rather sharp edges to prevent paintwork scratching.

I bought the rubber ones and they work great! They even have an outlined portion that matches the color of my car. They don't quite cover the bottom sill and I noticed a few fine scratches from the bottom of the door panel on the driver's side door. I felt under there and there's a sharp edge that must be rubbing, so I put a piece of black Gorilla tape over the spot on the sill.
