Den, found our lead in the Glove Box today. It is basically as seen on the eBay attachment, you just have to make sure when you use it that it is laid sensibly and does not cause a Safety problem eg tripping over it, when not in use I store it - Dave

Den, it is really a personal choice I found the Coiled one more compact when storing, OK you have to stretch it when using where as a Hard Wire is easier to layout but has to be coiled up for storing when not used - works both ways Dave

I waited long time to perform this mod but didn't regretted it once no its in place!
I corrected the video tutorial url in the post where Dave referred to. It seemed it didn't work
It isn't difficult at all! The hardest thing is to fish the cable back up next the the back seat.
In the video you will see that I have used Scotch locks but I have replaced those by soldering now which is a bit more secure.
No more need for cables running through the car and I still have both other 12V free for other purposes.
Last trip to the Alpes the cooler ran in the boot, kids were watching there DVD player, connected to the 12V in the front and the iPhone & dashcam were connected to the 12V in the arm rest. Worked like a charm
