18 or 19 inch Alloys Tekna

Post by Tim29 » Fri Feb 23, 2018 6:25 pm

So I will be soon ordering the 1.2Dig Tekna Xtronic but not quite sure which wheel size to choose; downgrade to 18 inch or keep the 19 inch.. does the 19 inch gives you firmer ride and more prone to kerbing? any advice/tips would be very much appreciated

18 or 19". It will probably be hard to distinguish between them. I have the 19" wheels and its a perfectly fine ride. What you may notice though is the cost of new tyres. Bigger is almost always more expensive. Although the irony is, the smaller wheel will use more rubber (same circumference), now figure that out!!!

I find the 19" fine; you can shop around when new tyres are needed.
Non top branded tyres are a lot cheaper than Continental, which were fitted to mine
at time of manufacture.
