Hi guys,
Looked through the various threads regards new tyre recommendations, can find very little, so apologies if I have missed it.
I am looking for 2 new tyres for my tekna 225 45 19, would like to keep budget per tyre fitted to below £120.
Thanks for any recommendations
Bobby
Ps still love my Qashqai

On my last QQ I bought some Avon ZX7 tyres and had them installed on the front.
Very good wet weather performance and seemed quieter than the standard fit Bridgstones.

I bought them from Black Circles, who gave great customer service, polite, thorough, etc, etc.

Can't recall exactly what I paid, and in any case they were a different size but it was around £100 per tyre including disposal, balancing, etc., fitted.

Thanks for that Mike, I have looked at these and know they are good tyres but apparently wear fairly quickly.
How did you find them wear.
Thanks
Bobby

I didn’t think there was anything of note about the wear, although I probably only did about 5000 miles with them

Bros, take a look at this Ad there seems to be a load of “Cheapies” here. Might be worth a look at and then perhaps a deeper look at certain specs. To me Tyres are a very important part of a car and Safety is of importance as well as cost. Take a look and see what you think - Dave 🙂

I have always used Continentals as per OEM.
Good in the wet and dry - and a long life to boot.
I easily exceed 50k miles on mine with motorway driving every day

I had the Avon ZX7s on my QQ and found them very poor on wear. Wear was very uneven - the outside edges wore very quickly - less than 20k miles. Got the wheel alignment etc checked but there wasn't any problem. My local garage told me they'd stopped supplying Avon because of similar problems.

Had Goodyear previous to that and while they had even wear they didn't last much more than 20k miles on country roads.

Currently using Toyo and well over the 20K and still some to go. I think they are Proxes CF2 SUV
