1.2 DIG-T Tekna in Pearl Black - Current expected delivery date is 13 May 2014 - actually delivered in April.
That's disgraceful, I just checked my invoice and bank statement and they have deducted the figure as quoted £204.12 in total so look as if they are profiting in on QQ users knowing the dislike of the gunk kit. When I fitted the wheel this afternoon, I looked at the gunk and inflator kit as originally fitted to the car, as well as ruining the tyre and probably not curing the puncture anyway. The gunk has to go through the compressor and into the tyre, so I would imagine that the gunk and compressor set will need replacing after use, what will this lot cost?, more than £50 I would bet. Having a puncture, without a spare looks like being a very expensive a time wasting process. I fitted the jack parts into the rubber elasticated strapping either right or left side of the rear of the boot and it holds well. I am thinking of cutting down some 10mm ply wood and fastening the soft lower carpet to give it rigidity and putting spacer blocks in wood either side of this which should give a good strong base

I asked for a spare tyre when I ordered my car, i have received the tyre, it's in my garage waiting for the two infill polystyrene parts, for the boot.
I did have an experience with a car with a gunk system, and had to replace the tyre, but I found the compressor, could have been used, to temp re inflate the tyre, on a slow puncher, so can the compressor be used without the gunk, if so it my be handy to keep it inthe car, but SLING the gunk

I keep a compressor in the car anyway. I don't check the spare regularly so it's quite likely it will be low in air.

I am currently stuck in Nottingham with a Alternator dying on M1 yesterday. Waiting to find out where I can source a VW Passat Alternator. Anyways when the RAC rescue came yesterday I asked them about universal spare wheel. He said he do have the universal spare wheel with him in his van. It will fit QQ new and old. If a Kwikfit is open they will escort us to one. If it's at night or weekend then they will allow us to take the spare wheel which we can return to ATS and RAC will collect it later. He said not to us the gunk.
At least it cleared some points for me. Won't be buying a spare wheel just yet.
Now back to my search for an Alternator.
