Started my QQ this morning and hit the hand brake switch as normal but the car would not budge. Had a warning light on the dashboard and a flashing hand brake switch. A quick check showed that the drivers side rear wheel was locked solid so called Nissan Roadside Assistance. The friendly RAC mechanic quickly diagnosed the fault. Something (probably a fox) had given the wire and connector boot a good chew and severed both wires to the brake calliper. I couple of in line crimps have proved a short term fix but I believe a more permanent repair is required.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Also, is there a good on-line souce for Qashqai wiring diagrams?
