Anyone else had trouble with chassis control warning and start stop faults popping up. Despite the errors car drives normally. Would appreciate knowing about any causes which have been diagnosed.

I had this after a Nissan service s/ware upgrade; dealer said was safe to carry on, and they pursued issue with Nissan HO Technical.
They (dealer) alleged it was because I'd fitted a horn upgrade; however, I established with aid of this forum
that the horn circuit isn't monitored by car's ECM (Central brain).
They subsequently cured by fitting a part they got in from Japan; was a laser as I recall.

That is exactly the error i am getting. Today they ( dealer)told me that it has something to do with the alternators flywheel. It was changed but error still persists. Apparently this is a very commin error on the 2014 j11’s. Hopefully we will manage to sort the issue out cause it is driving me crazy. Very disappointed by the nissan brand.
Just a quick and happy update.
In the end the issue was the alternator which was not charging the battery with the voltage required. Dealer wanted to replace the full unit which costed €600 plus €170 labour costs. In the end we tried replacing the flywheel ( of the alternator ) and it turned out that it was the fault. total cost €66.

Might be worth looking at this thread. The problem I had also gave the chassis control system fault (along with other faults too).

That error popped up on mine a couple of weeks ago, the first drive after I'd washed the car. Hasn't appeared since so I put it down to something getting a bit wet.
The chassis control is an optional feature anyway that can be turned off in the settings isn't it, same as parking sensors and all the other driving aids.

Just a quick update...
Despite the many checks done no faults were found but the error is still popping up. Nissan Malta contacted HO and apparently they were advised to reinstall the software on the ECU. It has been scheduled for today and perhaps if I am lucky I will get the car back tomorrow, Hopefully with the issue sorted out.

So finally after being for nearly 14 days without the car i have been notified of a happy ending.
After dismantling nearly half of the car and an enormous ammount of tests the fault has been diagnosed and rectified. In the end it turned out to be a loose battery earth connection. Yes beleive it or not it was that basic. Anyhow, i should be picking up the car tomorrow morning and hopefully enjoy my ride..... Thank you all who have in some way or another contributed.
