Yet another tire question - TOYO Tires

I've been disappointed with the life of my current AVON ZX7s. Our local garage has stopped using them as they have seen too many perished Avons and also they think the life isn't great.

I'm thinking of going for TOYO Proxes CF2 tires. Has anyone got first hand experience of these on a J10 with 17 wheels?

Thanks

I have Toyo Observe Gsi5 (215/65R17) on my J10 and am very pleased with their life expectancy. Now at 30k miles and expect at least another 10k. This my third set of Toyos, and on previous Suzuki Vitaras got about 43k miles before down to 3mm. all round with a little rotation. Least impressive is cornering in the wet.

Thanks for the reply. Good mileage you're getting out of them. Yours seems to be a winter tire though which I don't need..

Thanks again

That's right, an all year tyre with, would you believe, chopped walnut shells in the composition for grip on ice! :)
