Hi,
I have a set of 17 inch new alloy wheels that I got off eBay at a bargain price; my question is, can I use the tpms sensors that are installed on my current 16inch steel wheels in the new 17inch alloys? I would think that yes but I’m no expert on cars...
Cheers
Iain

Roscoe, I am no Specialist on this subject but I would think that if they are installed now on QQ Wheels and you are transferring them to other Wheels there should be no problem. Naturally as long as they are disassembled carefully with no damage, you will also save yourself some money as the TPMS Valves are expensive - Dave
Personally I would double check with a Specialist , just to be sure !

Thanks for your quick reply!
Yes for sure I will call the garage where I am due to take it for it’s service and mot next month (although due to covid19 i have an extra t months).
I did find these tpms sensors that do not need programming: https://tpmswarehouse.co.uk/shop/nissan ... ms-sensor/
Not too expensive, I guess,
Cheers!

Iain, that seems a pretty reasonable price for the Valves. I just thought you were old at first but now I know it’s him - Dave

And that is Gilmour the lion who used to fly with Roscoe and even with him in some of his air speed runs, and he had his own parachute to boot! Then after Gilmour died Roscoe had him stuffed and displayed in his home.
