Intelligent key not working properly

Hi all,
I'm wondering if any of you have had a similar issue to this, and whether you have found a solution:

I have just changed the CR2032 battery in my intelligent key, now it won't remotely unlock the doors. (Occasionally it will after a lot of presses).
Nor will it allow the doors to unlock using the unlock button on the door handle.
Sometimes it lets me use the stop/start button and at other times I have to offer the key up to the button.

Have you got a spare key and does that have the same problems locking/unlocking. Always use a good brand battery when replacing.

Indeed, battery brand does it!
I demonstrate this here as well as I had the same issue and changed my battery very often...

My J11 had this fault and the dealer replaced the part of the key that holds the battery due to an intermittent contact issue

I'm using a duracell battery.
The spare fob works perfectly.
I just don't get it!
