Good evening
I have recently bought a 2009 ntech and the reverse camera doesn't work at all, there is no difference to the screen when reverse is selected it just stops on the same screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is an inspection procedure for the camera malfunction. Fault could be a number of things ranging from the camera itself, connections and power supply from the head unit.

What would be the best approach to starting to fault find what would be the first place to look

The camera is wired directly back to the head unit where processing occurs. There are are no accurate wiring diagrams available so fault finding will be awkward. Probing with an Oscilloscope is of some use to detect the camera itself is working and to trace the video signal to the head unit entry point.

A Reverse gear signal is supplied to the head unit...may be a problem with it? Does your reversing light work?

Calnorth thank you for your reply yes the reverse lights are working, was tempted to take the radio out to see if all the connections are plugged in securely, i have checked the connections on the talegate and they all look ok, may be a case of leave well alone then
