Phone Voice Command

Can someone guide me on how to connect up the voice command for calls. The phone links up fine with calls incoming and out going ok but not sure how to active the voice facility.

There are problems with later Qashqais where functionality has been disabled - yours might be an affected car?

Second Gloucester & Dave... mine is 68-reg and voice command is disabled. The button is useless.
