Injector programming on j11 r9m
Yes. I have been at a workshop this morning . I dont know what they used but definately not consult.
We programmed injectors code but, program did not show on wich side(chain or flywheel) injector 1 was located.
Another thing was that all codes stored were different from the one printed on injectors....how is it possible?
Does anyone knows if an injector is reconditoned ,will get a new IMA CODE? or it will still use the one printed on?
And if get a new one....how do i know or find it??

Thanks already looked at it... I was able to know the cylinder orders, just unplugging injector connector and see DTC !!so cylinder 1 is on chain side.
About IMA code, i found out that bosch injectors does not receive a new IMA after servicing or renewal....anyone can confirm that?

They should recieve a new code if it's been reconditioned and then be printed/etched in to the top of the injector. If it's still got the old code on top of it I would say it's a poor reconditioning company because it should have a brand new piezo stack actuator fitted on every injector and then have a new code etched in when it's been checked for its specs.
I would enter the codes that are on the injectors that are fitted.

That is a picture of one .... So if they are refurbished they were supposed to have a new "cap" with new ima code on it? I coded with codes on the injectors, but would like to know why the one stored were different....i guess poor installation(just fit no coding) or poor refurbish(new ima but not updated on case cap and recoded)
What about injector order?? Im just getting confused...so many place indicates 1st injector on flywheel side (like 1.5) other on chain side....

It's literally just the k9k that's flywheel side mate that I know of in the nissan range.
Easiest way to be sure is exactly what you've done disconnect one of the injectors and see which code flags, just dont recommend unplugging whilst it's running as piezo injectors could potentially stay open

Just been at couple workshop and they said that all renault/nissan engine have 1st cylinder on flywheel side , bust just for coding, so even is obd standard recognize 1st on chain side, for coding need to start on other side. I just ordere an autel a200p, small obd tools that give option to code injectors too, and i will give a try
