Boot Tailgate Switch

Hi, I have a Qashqai 2016 model and the dashboard warning light is showing that the boot/tailgate is open - but it definitely closed. I assume that there is a faulty switch but I can't see where it actually is. Can somebody please tell me where the switch is located and whether the part is likely to be readily available. Thank you very much.
