Post by SamWalley » Tue Oct 06, 2020 10:27 am

Just bought a j10 qashqai and the steering wheel controls don't do anything but they have power (light up)
Any advice would be appreciated

Can you be a bit more specific...what controls exactly?

All the buttons on the face of the steering wheel, eg volume controls, source, phone and a switch with arrows on it

Nissan Diagnostics suggest checking the wiring to the switches....particularly the earth/ground wire. That will need steering wheel removal. All these switches connect to the Audio Unit by connectors/spiral cable and that also need checking.
