There are 2 clocksprings available, one has 1 wire (yellow) the other has 2(yellow and orange). Is the second wire for the cruise control maybe? I don't really want to take the clockspring out just to look at it and put it back to find out which one I need. Any ideas? Mine doesn't have cruise control

No it's for one stage or two stage airbags. The buttons have a socket on the back and a socket on the front of the spiral cable

Ok thanks, any way of finding out which kind of air bag it is by looking at it? Save having to get the whole wheel off

You have to just pop the airbag out of the steering wheel and check or get Nissan parts to get you a part number and go with that

Lol tried calling Nissan and they won't give me the part number as it's "confidential". Pricks
