I’ve got a 2016 qashqai tekna with 360 cameras. I would very much like to add apple CarPlay to my car ether via some sort of retro fit to the existing system like this -

Or by installing an aftermarket system but I would like to retain 360 cameras. Has any one had any joy with this ? And can recommend a brand / system and any additional connections needed.

I can’t find anything like that retrofit module in the UK

There are two long topics on here, one concerned with retro-fitting an Android unit and the other with retro-fitting the current unit. Both are possible albeit the latter is pretty complex.

Saw this video as well and looked very nice... untill I saw the price... €900 !!!

I would happily pay that to get Apple Carplay in mine!

Voor only 200€ you can install a Android system with Apple Carplay and other usefull apps no?
Would be easier, cheaper and more performant imho.

I don't want to lose any of the car features like cameras, and all the original features of the Qashqai system

Which is completely normal but those systems do support the 360° AVM so no problem with that.
And which other features of the QQ system you wouldn't like to loose? I can't image one that could be useful but isn't present on those aftermarket systems.
Personally I even don't use the system besides the radio, I mainly use Carplay for all the rest.

Hi I have just ordered this from Belsee I’ve been assured that it will work with the Bose system and the 360 camera if that’s any help. I’ll let you know how I get on with it. I have previously tried a Dasaita android head unit but was very disappointed with it as it kept crashing.

As far as I can tell the hardware for both Belsee and Dasaita is much the same - PX6 etc Rockchip chipset(s) on a board.

Be interesting to see what performance you get and if there is adequate manufacturer support?
