Blowers cutting out

Hey, qashqai 2017, don’t know if anyone else has the same problem, my blowers cut out but then try to work for a few seconds then cut out again. This also makes the lights dim as they try to work. Sometimes turning the engine off and on sorts it for a short while. It’s still getting hot though. It seems to happen a few minutes after I’ve set off so obviously when I took it to the garage it worked fine lol. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Sounds like the transistor module is faulty, also known as the resistor pack which is incorrect these days as a resistor pack is a set of resistors that restrict current flow to the blower motor and usually has 4 speeds. A transistor module has more than 4 speeds and controls the current by switching the ground on and off also known as pulse width modulation, if the module fails for some reason then it will go into a failsafe and stop blowing or reduce the fan speed to a specific speed. I've changed about 3 of these for the fault your describing.
