Hey qashqai forums, RT Here this is my first post.

I have recently had a few problems with my windscreen wiper motor so I replaced that today and put everything back together I have managed to get my wipers to the original position and they are doing the full sweep of the windscreen but when the wipers are turned off the are basically sitting in the middle of my windscreen as if they’ve done 50% of the sweep and just stopped there instead of stopping at the bottom of the windscreen like previous.

If anyone could help me and point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!

Thank you. RT412

Then the arm bolted to the motor is in the wrong position.

You need to make sure the motor is in park so do a wipe and let it park in mid screen if it wants to, turn them off and the ignition.

Then undo the nut for the arm from the motor without turning the motor and lift the arm off the motor then with the other hand put the wipers to the park position and then put the arm back on the motor and the nut and try that

If I remember rightly the arm will sit about 3 o'clock on the motor spindle and the nut will have to be done up with a spanner to pinch it then you can move the wipers and tighten it properly then

Hope this makes sense
