Led drl strips

Hi guys I have been looking at the guides and not had much luck I was trying to connect a drl strip to the lights and indicator. I got a drl controller which didn't seem to turn off even after 10 minutes of the engine being off, I then had a proper look at the light to see if I can remove the bulb but they look like sealed units. So has anyone done this on the j11 tekna 17 plate spoke to a mechanic and they said don't cut the wires as you can damage the canbus so I can run a new wire from a fuse ignition on to put the drl on but how would I get the idecator part to work without cutting into the wires new to this and the only guide I can find is in Italian

Don't think you have read my text I have searched and it says to connect to the bulbs but mine ate sealed you cannot turn them out hence why I have asked the question!

Unless your indicator bulbs on your J11 2017 are different to mine, then the indicator bulbs are mounted into the headlamps at the end of long plastic handle connected to the bulb holder simply twist 1/4 turn and you can then remove indicator bulb holder. See YouTube video link. As you would need to if replacing a blown bulb. Once you have twisted and pulled out the bulb holder you can either connect directly onto the small little folded metal connectors of the actual bulb but this is a pain, or with the indicator bulb holder now out of the headlamp it does make it a lot easier to connect onto the original indicator wires using one of the many types of crimped T-Tap wire connectors so you are not actually cutting just joining onto the original wires, as you will have seen from my posts no issues with Canbus.
