Navigation system search in Dublin (Ireland)

Hi all

I have a second hand 2017 qashqai (january) purchased in Dublin a few months back and quite do not understand how to search for an address without the need to know the postcode. Let me explain.
First I select "new address" and then something has to be on postcode/city as it won't let me search directly for an address. If I go to postcode/city there is no entry for "Dublin", you have to put "Dublin 1" or "Dublin 2" etc... so you must know the postcode beforehand, which is quite annoying.
It might be the version of the maps I use which is probably from when the car was sold originally, but wondering if anyone else from Dublin has experienced this.
