Hi I have a 2015 Qashqai and it has developed 3 system faults for which I receive error messages. The systems affected and not working are the lane departure warning, breaking assist and the stop/start. The ABS and traction control symbol are also permanently lit. It appears that the systems are not engaging when the vehicle is initially started up. Although they do not work the car currently drives ok. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to this forum.

This is usually a battery issue.

I also had a 2015 Qashqai and that era had faulty Fiamm batteries installed. Mine was replaced under warranty - has yours been replaced?

Nevertheless batteries do have a relatively short life and even a replacement battery might be now failing.

I'd take it to a battery specialist and get it tested.

Thanks for the reply. The battery hasn't been replaced and following advice on other posts I have checked it's status using the 'hidden' service menu and it's running between the correct ranges.

I'll certainly get it checked...can anybody else think of any other causes? Thanks again

Are you saying that ABS does not physically work? If so that is an MOT failure and needs immediate service.

The 3 faults together appear to be linked to braking control...common.

The ABS and the traction control systems appear to be working fine...the warning lights remain lit in much the same fashion as they do when the vehicle is initially started.

I have 3 warning messages that say system fault and the systems not working are the lane departure warning system, the collision warning system and the stop/start system.

Is that the diesel particulate filter? The car is petrol so I can't imagine it's the same issue. I've also driven on the motorway today and it's not helped, thanks for the tips though.

Apologies, it's the SLIP light that remains lit not traction control.

1st place I'd look would be the drivers side rear abs sensor connector which is clipped to the body above the rear axle for the wires corroding and breaking. If it ain't that, Then I'd get the scan tool out and scan it for codes. Just what I would do.

Hi Anthony,
Did you ever get to the bottom of your system faults as I have the exact same problem?

Cheers
