Hi. I have a serious issue with my 68 plate qashqai. The screen on my head unit has some how inverted and on start up it says GPS not connected. I don't know if them 2 issues are related. It all works fine but everything in upside down. I've checked the connections at the back and they all seem fine. The car is still under warranty but was hoping to see if there's a quick fix. I've added a picture below. Thanks

First we've seen of that on forum I believe; hopefully dealer can update necessary firmware.

Try reset to factory settings. Can't remember where that is in the menus but likely in the Service Menu. Goto and check amongst menu buttons. All settings will be defaulted to as factory built:

Hi KaySyd,
Just Out of curiosity, what were you doing at the time, example had you been into the hidden menu to take a look or did it just happen spontaneously. There may be a factory function "button press" to invert the screen or as Gel has already said it may require a software or firmware re-boot.
Let us know,

Welcome to this forum.

Please may I point out it's not upside-down but rather mirrored on the horizontal axis.

I had thought that. However, I considered the unit to be Naff enough to do that...

Haha. Deffo no April fools joke. It literally just happened as I got in the car one morning. Turned car on an it was like that. Tried the things mentioned but no look. Will call Nissan. Thanks
