I am having trouble with the climate control/air con in my 2019 petrol Qashqai.
If I turn it on 'low' it will be icy cold going to minus degree celcuis on the air vents (which it should as full of gas).....BUT if I set the temp. control to 16.5/17oc then it's roasting warm, as it uncomfortably warm to drive in.
I checked the heat coming out the vent when it's set at 17oc and it can be over 35/40/45oc.
Nissan dealer has checked it twice but say no fault even though they have admitted to not having the 'correct equipment' at the dealership so they now have to order that in and check for a 3rd time
The dealer says the temperature settings are 'only a guide' but surely 17oc shouldn't be pumping out warm air.
I feel like I am wasting my time with the dealership.
Any ideas? Thank you.

The in cab tempreture sensor must be under 17 degrees then, it will pump out warm air until its satisfied with the in car temp being over 17 degrees then it will start to go cooler and maintain 17 degrees.
I would try a battery disconnect also, sometimes can sort issues out like this.

+1 on a battery reset, this worked on my 07 QQ, in fact quite a few issues were fixed this way.
Good luck and keep us posted.

In cab sensor is in the trim by your knees theres a slotted lines cut into it
slightly off topic but Just a bit info for members and guests . air con blowing hot today and thought here we go again . had the usual suspect of condenser changed 5 year's ago and been fine since but when turning aircon on compressor not even clicking in now so decided to risk it and buy a top up kit from amazon it comes with a can of leak repair and a can of r1234yf gas. bought hose and guage separately. all at a cost of 55 pounds. so today I decided to try it and within seconds of putting the leak sealer in the compressor kicked in then put the r1234yf gas in and wow ice cold aircon again much cheaper than putting it in a garage to get done and no special skills needed to do. hope this helps anyone in he same situation.
