Just had my Dealer on the phone, it appears that my car is at fault, the icon should be visible at all times to show that the IEB is active, car will be booked back into the work shop yet again 😡
I think that the Dealer is slowly bit by bit building us a new car haha.

I don't have my Qashqai any more so I can't check but I seem to recall the symbols in that location showed when the systems were turned on - i.e. not deactivated.

EDIT

Is it this from the manual? Hence switchable?

The [Driving Aids] option has a sub-menu, from which you can choose whether or not to have further items displayed. These items are:

β€’ [Lane] (Lane Departure Warning system)
β€’ [Blind Spot] Blind Spot Warning system)
β€’ [Emergency Brake] (Forward Emergency Brake system)

I've just checked as requested by the Dealer to see if the IEB has not been disabled via the info settings screen, definitely some form of fault present. But strangely no large warning on the centre display to say the IEB is faulty as many have encountered (snow, leaves, dirt etc on radar/camera?)
Anyhow I'm sure they will check it over and fix the fault under warranty.
On the first photo, the IEB icon should always be present under the clock, opposite side from the lane assist icon.

Yes πŸ‘
If I select the display on the settings the ESP, lane assist and IEB are selected and if the L&R <> are pushed on the steering wheel it scrolls through to this screen, lane assist icon is there but t'other isnt? Definitely faulty.

I have a 2018 tekna and have never seen the little white icon under the time, I know it has worked quite suddenly before but wonder if it might be worth getting mine looked at by the dealer as it's not there.

Could be worth a quick phone call to your supplying Dealer and mention it, I'll definitely keep the post updated to their findings/cure.
The car is going in this Thursday so I'll no more afterwards.

I've never had any symbols showing on my dash on my 70 plate Tekna+ and they are all activated in the various menus. I know the EB is working because it activated a few weeks ago when it thought I was getting to close to a stationary car at a set of traffic lights.

The only time they show is when I deactivate them in the menus.

Ahhh was going to say if it was an auto then that's possibly why mine doesn't come up haha, just checked mine and it has AEB and not IEB which might be different.
