Brother in law just purchased a used 2018 Acenta, same as ours just in Vivid Blue.
Phoned me tonight to ask if this icon below his clock on the dash was a warning for something?

20210523_160833.jpg

Not having seen this symbol before I suggested that I could mean that he may have a fault with his IEB as our car does not show the same symbol on the dash, however I'm now thinking that his car is fine and ours is at fault, just phoned my Uncle who has a 2020 QQ and although a higher spec and slightly different symbol layout his too has the same symbol continuously lit.
Just looking for some clarity before I phone the Dealership tomorrow and look a right tool for no reason.
I believe that going from what I have seen so far, ours is faulty?
Any help would be extremely appreciated.
Since buying the car it seems to be problem after problem, maybe the guys at Sunderland rushed our car whilst screwing it together.

Hi mrugby, he Is reversed parked into his drive, and I believe the symbol that he emailed to me (photo) is his IEB?
Are you talking about your reversing sensor.

Squashy2, I have just checked our Tekna + J11B which is parked near a hedge (R 1M), Car (L 1M) / House Wall (Front 1M) and there are no Warnings showing - Dave 😉

Thanks Dave, I'm still slightly confused though over the icon.
On the Brother in laws QQ his IEB icon is always showing on his central screen, left upper just below his clock, I'm assuming this is just to clarify that the system is active?
Same position on our car has no icon showing at all. I would think that if there was a fault would this show a red warning icon in the centre of the screen? I have followed the instructions in the hand book, physically disabled the IEB via the settings and on the Speedo the icon with two halves of cars along with a star was visible, then turned it back on and it disappears but still no icon under the clock.
I've emailed both Nissan and the Dealership to ask their advice but nothing back from either as of yet. Does your car have the icon visible at all times? (see original photo)

There's nothing showing on my dash either, there never has been.

Dave's post explains it, it only comes up if it's unavailable or there's a fault...I think.

I can only assume that his QQ has something fitted that ours doesn't.
He is probably best to drop into the Dealership and ask them about it, I'll just wait for my Service Manager to reply and assure me that our car is gtg.

Squashy2, there is nothing on our Screen. Now on our J11A we did have problems with IEB and being me I took it straight back to our Dealer to get it checked out and corrected. You have a QQ, a Dealer, a Guarantee and the Dealer is there to provide you a Service, if it is brake related it could be a Safety Issue - not good ! So get to them to check it out - Good Luck Dave 🤗

Hi Dave, we are both awaiting replies from our relevant Dealerships, unfortunately we are both working from home today and cannot take either car in but yes, both are still under warranty, neither car seems to have an apparent fault with the IEB, my Brother in laws car did flash the amber collision warning on Saturday not long after he purchased it (he does drive pretty close to cars in front 😲 and lives on his brakes) so shows that his must be functioning fine. I have never had any audible or visual warning of IEB since owning the car from purchase in March, but tbh I don't think that I've needed the intervention.
It's just the icon that he has visible under the clock and which I don't that is puzzling, both cars are 2018 Acenta 1.2 DIG T, manual transmission, both have the Smart vision pack so apart from the colour they are identical.
