Hi i am steve from Newcastle (Whitley bay) I have just bought a 65 plate qashqai dci acenta premium all the parking censors are not working
Just had a auto election here he says it’s the module (no voltage on any sensor back or front )he says try to get a second hand unit but can you plug and play or is there any issues with the swop over any help please thank in advance

There are number of error codes (DTCs) related to the Sonar System. An OBD scan needs to be performed really.

All sensor failure relates to power and/or ground supply...also failure in CAN comms.

Not sure if any special installation configuration is performed...don't look like it from Diagnostics. But the correct Sonar Control Unit needs identifying I'd say.

Well it turned out it was water damage the car had been in a flood all the wiring at carpet level was holding water and all the bumpers and anything that it got into was covered in mud the car was stored in a old mill just before the last floods in Yorkshire (the dealer told me he stores the cars there) it’s been returned and with a full refund I have just got it replaced with the same car but it’s missing a few clips from the cover under the engine does any one no the part nos please

Yes thats the clips you need i always replace all mine after every service and they break easy. I get mine from here good price and quality..
