Hi, Hope someone can clear up some confusion.
My partners car had the orange engine light come up, a friend of ours who's a mechanic popped over this morning and plugged the car in and says the DPF pressure sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced, he said its easy to change and told her that I will be able to do it easily. He has flown out on holiday this afternoon.
Looking at the car etc I believe the pressure sensor is on the left hand side as you are looking at the engine. I have called a couple of local car parts shops and they are all advising of the same part. The part they have advised doesn't look like it will fit. My question is, are they advising me of the wrong part, or am I looking at the wrong sensor? I have added pictures of what I believe the sensor is on the car and also a picture of the part a supplier advised me is the pressure sensor. Can someone please advise me of the correct sensor required.
