A TPMS sensor error will ONLY show as an inability to display the tyre pressure on the dash, ie no other lights or faults. I know because I had one for several weeks. Yes, at times it appeared to work, others not. The actual sensor was whizzing around inside the tyre as it had broken loose.
The bad wire issue near the OSR tyre caused dashboard mayhem... and it only takes a minute to check so you could possibly rule that out as being an issue or not.

Neither of these issues impacted the performance of the engine itself though.

I'm getting the same error since yesterday. I've changed my tyres to winter set. At first, I recieved pressure readings from tyers (already paired and recognized by the car). Went to the fuel station to set the right pressure. After the calibration I am geting tyre system error with no readings about the pressure. All four sensors couldn't stop working at the same time, so the fault is perhaps bad wire issue.
