I have a 2014 Tekna 1.6 Diesel.I noticed a couple of nights ago that none of the buttons light up at night! So, it's a real struggle to find the right button to press - not the kind of problem that you want when you're driving along!Anyone else had this problem? Note the instrument panel and media center thing are fine... it's the buttons around them that are impossible to read in the dark.Is this likely to be a blown fuse that requires me to call up the dealer, or is there an option that Mrs Kroton may have accidentally messed around with when she took the car for a spin with Kroton junior. Thanks!

If you look to the right of the steering wheel there is a button to increase/decrease the brightness of the readout (next to trip reset button). Don't know if this will help but worth a try I think.

Hi, Did you find out the cause of your problem? The wife just got home and said none of the interior buttons are lit up - I went out to have a look and she's right, but I can't recall if they ever did. They light up when you unlock the car, but with the ignition running they don't. Is this normal? I've only had the car three weeks, but I'm sure they were on before now. What was the solution? Was it a blown fuse? Thanks!

If they light up when you unlock then its not a fuseid run through setting and the dial on right hand side of the dash under vent

You're right, it's not a fuse - it's my wife being my wife. Turns out she turned the lights off 'Auto', in fact completely turned them off, so she drove home in the dark with just the DRLs on. So yeah, for anyone else who's interior buttons won't come on when it's dark... check that your lights are on.

I have now moved the steering wheel and can see the stalk easily.

One of the things that still irks me about the car (or maybe it's just me) is that when shifting the indicator on a roundabout from right to left, most times I turn the headlights on or off.

I couldnt see where to turn the lights onI then found the switch and then realised that I couldn't see the switch cos all the interior lights were off!but I could see my forward view just via the DRL's - Damn theyre bright!!I did feel a bit of a wally though

The lights on the buttons on the head unit don't work. It has been in the garage and they want £600 to fix by sending to clarion.
It is something to do with the illumination. Everything works you just can't see the buttons at night. Can anyone help?
