I am having my DAB drop outs only when using the heated rear window, when pressed on all DAB disappears. I have noticed this morning when using the heated windscreen that there are two lines that look as though they don’t heat. See pictures.
Could this be a cause of the drop out, and needs repairing?
Also when I press the button in the car I hear a single click that sounds like it’s coming from the fuse box area.
Any ideas?
Heated Rear Window
yep the 2 lines that not melting ice may have a little crack in the heating line. i wouldn`t worry about them too much as it will still defrost the car while driveing. common problem with dab, used to have that on my old ford car with FM radio as the aerial was built into rear screen.

the click in the fusebox is from the rear wiper. It clicks every time when it wipes
DAB reception could be bad due to the ice covered glass? As the antenna is inside.

The only reason I would try and repair is if it fixed the dab dropout. But unsure if this would fix.
The click is heard when I press the heated rear window button, not the wiper,
When the button is pressed the dab drops out completely no channel works, then as soon as I turn it off it returns to normal. I know I’m using it more as its winter but it’s so annoying

This is what you would need for rear screen...
