Hi I'm new to all this was just wondering if anyone has bought a aftermarket xenon 10,000k HDI kit off of ebay and went to fit it today. When i got the original bulb out i noticed that the connectors are different to original wiring does anyone have any suggestions as to get around this or is it not possible?

Yes it's possible I did it in my original QQ , just got to mess about splicing the wiring in without cutting into the loom preferably , I wouldn't go with 10000k , your going to attract the wrong kind of attention ....

It is also illegal and an mot fail plus as already said, likely to get you unwelcome attention from the boys in blue.

So do I need to cut any wires? My QQ is a 61 plate. Can someone give me a run down on what I need to do.

If F1 Bob' comment is correct, and im sure it will be, then why are you even going to go ahead with this? Ive not seen the kit you talk of, but it sounds like they are a danger to other road users.

I find the 2014 lighs very poor and was contemplating fitting the HID but perhaps the 4300 and only to the near side . I have had landrovers with bad lights and fitting a 100w to the nearside was the solution..I thik a 100w in a QQ will; melt the fittings.
