Just as an update whilst I wait for funds to buy my new unit. This is my official response from Nissan.

Hi TalonK

You have selected the new Android 9.0 with the PX6 processor. Ensure you order request the Can Bus if you have the 7” Radio unit with 360 cameras.

You will need a USB DAB+ receiver like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAB-Digital- ... Swze9cmxXG

Two FAKRA to Smb cables to connect the Nissan GPS and the roof top DAB antenna https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fakra-SMB-C- ... Swqu1aoIuD

I installed the supplied microphone routing the cable across the dash behind the instruments and under the A post cover to above the drivers head.

The best DAB app to operate the DAB receiver is by Zoulou [url]https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... b&hl=en_GB [url]
All ordered. Ebay finally got back to me and confirmed my car is good for the unit...confirmed they would be send the can bus and offered me a discount as well.
So 1 unit, 2 fakra cable, 1 dab+ and 1 set of dashboard tools all ordered.

After Nissan's crappy response ...this will feel good.

Did you pay import tax on your unit... Ebay seller is suggesting I will. Tempted to cancel order and find a UK shipper.

As I have said in previous post my unit was shipped from a German warehouse so no import duty or VAT. You may be able to get a unit from a different manufacture who has stock in Europe.

Hasn't shipped yet so probably cancel and find a closer to home.

Dont suppose you know of any sellers closer?

No Dasatia sellers in Europe, however, other manufacturers units are available but I cannot comment on them.

Couldn't get my head around aliexpress.... are they similar to Ebay?.. with sellers etc rather than an overall company.

Getting nowhere with dasaita thru Ebay on refund. Price is better for sure...

I've been using Ali for the past 5-6 years and have bought a unit like this from this particular seller. It will be delivered
on Wednesday from UK.

Ringing Ebay today to put an end to my purchase. Dasaita seller is unresponsive so once refund in progress will purchase from aliexpress.. using Germany as shipper.

Didnt want to downgrade from PX6 chip but dont want tax and other crap to pay either. Not on a strict budget but money is money
