Update

Installed the DAB+ USB receiver using a extra Fakra to SMB cable (with slight mod on the locating key) using the OEM roof antenna and have 5 out of 5 bars on all stations.

Sorted the issue of manually opening the camera, needed to change the soft key settings to include a long press on the Home Key to scroll through 360 Cameras on > Kerb View > Off

How good is the Bluetooth phone conversation quality? It was really poor on the earlier models.

The BT quality is good, I believe they fixed the earlier problems with the PX5 units running Oreo. Music over BT is also very good but I don’t use it as I have loaded all my CD music onto the SD card.

This unit is the Mut’s Nuts, its better than the LCN system in every way and it’s a very responsive Android tablet.

I’m using zoulou's modded DAB+ app and it’s perfect. If you have a Qashqai with a heated front screen you will have to use the roof antenna as the stick on screen aerial won’t work on the windscreen because of the heater element blocking and interfering with the signal.

Ok. thanks a lot. Things have changed in other words. I'll use your link to buy the specific cable for the roof antenna.

Just check that you have the LCN with 2 type FAKRA connectors, one for the GPS and one for the DAB antenna.

I'll guess so, since I've both DAB and GPS right now.
Thanks.

Another question concerning the small info-window. Will you still have the same information in this window
after the mod, Like TPMS and the possibility to alter various settings?

Regarding the Information window between the instruments you have all the system settings, speed, TPMS, etc. The things that you lose are 'Next Turn' from your Sat Nav and there is no frequency information from the external DAB module.
