Are they fairly obvious where to connect?

I plan on familiarising myself with the unit tonight before I fit tomorrow.
Just to reiterate previous posts regarding installation in one place:

The wiring is very straight forward, you don’t use all the ancillary RCA cables which is obvious when you look at all the internal cables. View the videos as posted by Chosen.

You will need to transfer some of the little metal retaining clips from the LCN unit to the new unit, prise them off gently with long nose pliers.

Connect the single USB cable from the PX5 to the Nissan wiring connector that supplies the In-Car USB outlet (Dash or Arm Rest). The twin PX5 USB lead, one I used for the DAB+ stick, the other I routed into the glove box for future use.

If you have a heated front screen, don’t try and use the supplied DAB antenna that’s stuck to the screen, it won’t work.

Connect one of the two (purchased separately) Fakra cables between the Nissan DAB (brown connector) lead and the PX5. The other is used to connect the Nissan GPS (blue connector) cable to the PX5.

I have used the supplied microphone and installed on the edge of the headlining just above the driver’s head. It’s working well with good sound quality. The OEM unit has a pre amp which requires a 5V supply and I couldn’t be bothered sorting the wiring out to use it.

Fix the PX5 black ground wire to one of the original LCN fixing screws or some other ground point, very important.

Tie rap the main bunch of cables together keeping the Can Bus and the DAB stick safe from rattling in the dash. Connect the power cable last.

The 360 cameras operate automatically on Reverse or when the parking sensors trigger. You can operate the 360 cameras manually by two methods. One by the soft key settings to include a long press on the PX5 Home Key to scroll through 360 Cameras on > Kerb View > Off

Video showing the Key Study update for camera operation of above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71DNXCkJKGg

Check the Can Bus settings. Go to the PX5 factory setting, pass word is 126, go to : Canbus---Canbus: 10 NISSAN 2013 TEANA(Simple), Type: 1 Type Hi, Key Mode: AVM 5, press Apply then Exit, system will reboot. https://image.pushauction.com/0/0/dce50 ... 940f6.jpg

The second method is via the Enter key on the left of the Steering Wheel. Using the key, scroll Up/Down until you have the Source Screen visible on the Info Window, long press the Enter key to scroll through 360 Cameras on > Kerb View > current source.

Apps that I use are Sygic sat nav, Pulsar music, DAB-Z by Zoulou and FCC Launcher all from play store. You can interrupt the Standard SWC buttons for Handset Up / Down with FCC (and others) for single or double press to load app or command of your choice.

Wow. Thanks.

The mic... is there one built into the unit? Rather than the leaded one supplied?
Never done anything like extra wiring in a car of any sort and if your suggestion isnt obvious to my brain then i dont wont to ruin anything trying it.
I assume using the original mic is fiddly and would require more wiring?

I assume that the LCN fixing screws are the ones holding the unit it that I need to unscrew once the facias are remove from the sides as per the videos.

Total novice at this but build PCs so hoping I will at least not feel completely out of depth.

Thanks again

Cant seem to get 360 cameras operating?
Side buttons of unit were doing something...now arent...only touch screen stuff.
Steering wheel buttons dont do a whole lot either besides volume.
What am I missing?

I assume this is the canbus...that is needed for 360camera. Putting it in reverse brings up blank screen? With yellow exclamation. Will reread posts twice to make sure I haven't missed something. Followed the videos for connection although none in English hehe

You will need to reset the Soft Buttons (Touch Key Study) , see the video showing the Key Study update for camera operation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71DNXCkJKGg

Ta. Everything else is done. So impressed. So much better than stock one. Will post pics later when cleaned up and sorted.
The unit even has HDMI in! Mad.

Thanks to all that have helped... now I'm in the group that can advise but wouldn't have been possible without you
