portuguese customs are notorious for hanging onto your item without telling you then charging another 23% on top. dasaita have shipped to uk 1st then on to me so safe on the customs front! Might have some install queries but have read and watched as much as i can so fingers crossed!

ok, got it fitted. few problems but getting there. main one is cant connect car play and this unit should have carplay chip and zlink built in. on iphone i go to settings-general-carplay and see 'carkit' from the unit which i select and just get a waiting symbol. it does ask that you push the carplay button on your car which obv i dont have - any ideas? booklet says to select zlink for iphone but app not there. downlaoded via play store - enter name. email and password but no button to 'confirm' . notice on playstore someone else said cant sign in

I don’t understand the issue, as I’m aware Dasatia Android, or in fact any Android Car units don’t have Car Play out of the box. You can purchase a third party USB car play dongle if you wish and the head unit will support this. I may be totally wrong but Car Play only replicates your mobile screen and apps onto the head unit, it make little sense when the head unit is in fact a full Android Tablet (with a few car bits incorporated). I believe Car Play is a functionally for non Android head units. I would be pleased to be corrected and informed as to what Car Play will add the the functionality as I may be missing out.

Note the "optional" - not sure what that means

I would've thought CarPlay is rendered not needed as full android unit. Got to be cheaper ways to mirror the phone.

Hi it arrived although it was supposed to be from Germany not china so there will be trouble if i get a customs charge

any ways im having some issues with the sound and front camera i have the qashqai j10 with the 360 cameras and standard speakers. i got the px6 radio image of the back is below



if i use the cable below (Dasaita DYX028-1) the camera works on reverse but not on forwards and the volume on everything is very low i went into factory setting and turned everything up to 20 and i can just about hear it on that but its not loud



however if i use the standard cable the sound is fantastic but there are no cameras , am i doing something wrong ?

i have the red and white cables of the Dasaita DYX028-1 into no 2,4,5 and 6 and the yellow into no 13 or 15
