Thanks am I still not getting front camera when I put it in to first after reverse. Black screen with a yellow warning sign. When I use the soft touch button to manually load 360 camera it works. Not sure how to get the front camera to work automatically. Any ideas?

Have you the single input Cam-cable active? The one with the purple connector.

The 9.0 has DSP included. The 8.0 says DSP optional. You need the DSP cause it gives a better audio.
It depends which way you are suppose to use it concerning 32/64Gb.

Tbh... I nearly always get as newer tech as I can so it lasts longer

Here's an afterthought. how does it work to transfer audio etc onto this device? Is it by USB? Does it hook up to the Nissan's built in USB slot or is a new one located on the unit....

There should be a cable in the kit which is connected to the Nissan USB connector behind the dash. Making the USB-port in the armrest available to the new unit. I've my 3G modem connected to that port in the armrest. There are two more USB cables. I'm using one for the DAB-unit and the other routed to the outside making it available for a hard disk full of music or whatever you can think of.

The aux-inputs are connected to the units aux-inputs, making it available for use.
