Thank you.
Please forgive my ignorance but i'm still non the wiser. Its the string for the air bag that i'm looking for and how to tuck the dash cam wire around it.
I have no problem installing the dash cam its just avoiding that airbag string. As i haven't begun to install it yet I thought I would be able to avoid that problem.

The airbag "string" is in the windscreen pillar - the interior trim simply pulls off.

It's the A pillar - on the left hand side of the windscreen looking out

I wasn't happy with the fit of my existing dash cam into my Tekna+. The electronics module in the centre of the windscreen comes down too far to be able to mount it underneath. My dash cam, like so many, actually stands back from the windscreen quite a way so mounting it to the side means that the electronics module comes into view, unless it is mounted a reasonable distance away from it, making it too far into the passenger's field of view.
I looked for a dash cam with a lens close to the windscreen and found that the "70mai" seems to fit the bill. It can be mounted quite close to the centre electronics module without it coming into view. The video it takes looks ok, and it has voice control. The sticky mount attaches in a way that can be easily removed. However, the setup is a little strange, it could be a little confusing for non-techys.

Hi all, new to the forum and want to say how helpful i've found the forum and this thread in particular. I've had a bit of a result and wanted to share on here.
I bought a Nextbase dash cam and hardwire kit, and turned to this forum for help when realising the supplied fuse taps are the wrong size to fit a QQ.
I've seen that many members bought a micro fuse tap from ebay or somewhere, and changed the connecting point to a bullet to fit, with some time and expense spent doing so...
I read elsewhere online that Nextbase, if contacted, will supply different fuse taps free of charge! So I did just that using their online chat at http://www.nextbase.co.uk only yesterday, and TODAY they arrived in the post! totally free of charge and without proof of purchase, excellent customer service on behalf of nextbase, they even included the 2A fuses themselves!
Please see pic attached, two were supplied by nextbase free on request, two came with the connection kit I purchased from amazon.
thought I would share on here to save anyone else having to buy another one and adapt it, good luck all and thanks again!
