I used this guide a few weeks ago to install a dashcam in my 2014 Acenta Premium. Used the screen wash fuse and it works great. However I noticed when stuck in bad traffic the other day that sometimes my dashcam powers off when the stop/start restarts the engine. I have a Dashcam Pro 200. It doesn't power off when the engine stops but does when it restarts, not everytime and when it does I can just remove the USB cable from the cam, re-insert and it will power up. So I'm assuming this is something to do with the cam picking up a change in power and thinking the engines been switched off.
Now: 1.3 NConnecta DIG-T 158 MHEV J12
Before: 1.2 Accenta Premium DIG-T J11

Does the Cam have an internal rechargeable battery?

I did this a few months back, and the guide was spot on for a 2019 QQ, including the revision about ensuring the cable to the cam is placed behind the curtain air bag.

Welcome to this forum. Why not do a set-by-step photographic guide of you own? :)

Hi I someone can help.
I have just joined this forum so please bare with me as I get to now what I am doing lol.

Basically I need help Hardwiring a mirror dash cam setup which has 3 cameras and the screen is used as the reversing mirror.
I have hardwired dash cams before but having problems with regards the fuse layout in my Qashqai which seems to be wrong.
In the Workshop Mechanics Manual it shows 16 & 32 as the power contacts. So I was going to connect dash cam to the front cigarette socket which I know is live constantly but I noticed even with the fuse removed there was still power going to the socket which shouldn't happen the power would only flow to the socket if there is a fuse to bridge the connection.
I want to hardwire to the permanent live so I can use the Parking Monitor function and the hardwire kit has a function that cuts power to dash cam when battery reaches 11.6v so saves battery dying on you.

So I am hoping someone can help me figure out what is going on.

Cheers. JJ

Hi Lapalmeraie.

https://knigaproavto.ru/shemy/en/nissan ... agram.html

Many thanx for your reply and the Fuse Layouts Diagram.
I have attached a link above to a webpage with diagrams that is similar but different to the layout you showed.
I have tried 16 & 32 as power sockets and the sockets still get power even when fuse is removed which shouldn't be happening so I am hoping someone can help me sort out why this is happening.

Cheers. JJ
