Black Rojer lists the sd2-GENJ_EU_D.A v1 card as being from Q1 2016, not 2014, in the linked thread.
I have sd2-GENJ_EU_B.a v11, which I believe is from 2014. (The car was new in July 2015 and came with a 2013 card!)

I just couldn't make my mind up whether I was current or not, but as I say if you have a car for a year or so and just think "ooh, I wonder if there's a map update" and you Google it and end up at nissan.navigation.com there is just no way of looking at your system and the info on that site and figuring it out. And from what I'm reading it's not like Nissan CS would necessarily be that clued up either

As it stands, since this is a brand new car (and a recent build as far as I can tell) then I'm going to be contacting Nissan and asking for them to update the mapping for free. No way a brand new car should be being sold with map data so out of date. Definitely 2014 maps yeah?

^^ actually, you can get the update for free. I have just done exactly that through Nissan customer services and got a V2 card delivered last week!
For those with cars that are less than 12 months old (registered 12 months old...), you can contact customer services at Nissan for a V2 card. Older cars may end up with a 1.1 card but it seems Nissan are putting a plan together to dish out updated cards at service time at dealers for those still in warranty.

Hi guys...can anyone tell what version my current SD card is please, when I bought the car on the 30/5/19 I was told the car had all the latest updates including the sat nav, but my card looks different to the latest v4 card pictured on ebay.
