The drivers side works great, it lights up when car goes into my blind spot,

but the passenger side does not light up at all, even if there is car in the blind spot or I indicate,

It must be faulty

Check to see if the orange warning light comes on when someone is undercutting you, not when yiu are over taking them. Driver alongside a vehicle on your inside then indicate to pull in, your warning lightvand audible warning should become apparent.
I seem to remember a long while back that someone else had this problem. It turned out to have been a connector that had come apart inside the door.

The passenger side blind spot warning light does not come on when I am over taking or undertaking
or if I indicate. It used to work.

Does anyone else have Blind Spot Warning on a Qashqai, who can do a video of it lighting up on the motorway ?
(passenger side whilst overtaking)

coolcomp1, I'll check tomorrow, no video as I'll be on my own. I'll let you know how it results. Sounds to me like you have a faulty connection somewhere or a faulty camera.

I took extra notice today while on the motorway today,

1. While overtaking cars (passing them on my left) the light came on once the car was in the blind spot.

2. While been overtaken (car passing me on my right) the light came on as the car approached and entered my blind spot.

Hope that helps

Thanks very much Benchmark for your help, dont suppose you could do a video so i can show Nissan?

Mine does not light up at all

2. While been overtaken (car passing me on my right) the light came on as the car approached and entered my blind spot.
This works fine on my car

Hi, new to this forum but interested in this topic. Just bought a 2015 NTec + for my missus. Loads of tech, very good car. But doesn't look like it has BSW -definitely not selectable in 'driving aids'. Is this for Tekna only? Seems a bit odd, when it has all the cameras and sensors for everything else

Adie9, I think you will find that the BSW System was a Std fitting on the J11A Tekna Models only (see attachment without NTec last Spec). When you look at the new J11B Specs it is only available on the Tekna & Tekna + (under Safety). So it looks like your assumption was correct - Dave :)

Oh yeah. Bit odd, having all the sensors and cameras already onboard, but I guess that's how the marketing goes! Thanks for looking all that up, Dave! V impressed!!
