I have a Qashqai DCI 2.0 Tekna and I have had trouble after a DPF regeneration.
The car has been smoking for some time and at one point the whole car was engulfed in smoke when coming off the motorway and both the DPF and amber Engine light came on . I took it to a garage who did two forced regeneration's which cleared the DPF warning light but not the Engine light. The garage could not however clear the Engine light and said it was beyond their Delphi kit.
I have tried my cheap code reader, disconnecting the battery for an hour, going for a long run but still the light will not go away. Nissan stealerership want me to pay £80 for an hours investigation to turn it off. I am told though that they then recommend another forced regen by them at £250 before they turn the light off.
Can anyone tell me what I can use (Except the main dealer of course) to turn this light off please.
