Hi there,
my car (2013 J10) got broken into at the weekend and I cannot get the drivers window glass replaced until tomorrow. It keeps sounding the alarm at random intervals even though the car is unlocked. Is there any way to stop this? I phoned Nissan and they did not know as they would need to hook up the car to check the codes.

Battery removal will trigger the alarm as the siren control unit has its own rechargeable battery.
You could try disarming the ultrasonic sensors as described towards the end of this document.

Yes, they should be. But with the alarm going off when the car is "unlocked", the idea was to eliminate them as potential culprits through malfunction.
