Another successful update to D554. It took 63mins and was also followed by another prompt to do an update before the 'Data Carrier' can be used. This unexpected 2nd update only appeared after everything else had finished and the system rebooted, showing the Nissan logo. I did not need to do anything other than press the update button.

That second update comes from the SD map data card.

Did a 3 hr round trip to Barnsley for work today, so had a good play with the new firmware.

Three more things I've noticed..

Listening via bluetooth to spotify on my phone, the display used to only show the track details for the initial song. If I moved forwards/back through the album/playlist, they didn't change. Now they correctly display the track/album for every track

Pressing the NAV button then HOME to plot the journey always instantly said "route calculation failed" and I had to do it a second time which always worked. Now it works first time.

The voltage displayed for the power supply in the hidden menu is behaving differently. Will mention that in more detail in the charging thread.

Yeah it's obvious really but if you are going for the "driving around for an hour" method you need to remember you can't listen to music or look at the map!
