Is this thing I'm looking for in the menu actually referred to as HW ID?

I've spent so long looking for it and I just can't find that information anywhere.

You need to look in the “service menu -> version” not in the test menu. How to enter service menu look here:

Info under “hardware”

Yeah I had already got into that menu. It says 031 is that OK to use the linked file to upgrade?

Hi folks.

I'm waiting for the V4 navigation to be released and I've come to wonder if I can just buy the card and drive away or will I need a firmware upgrade. And if so - can I use the mentioned firmware for my Danish QQ :)

Your Connect version is very outdated. Dispite other reasons (bug fixes, improvements) you may face to difficulties of map SD card being correctly recognized by headunit. D554 is suitable for your Danish headunit.

Read and follow update istructions carefully!

Thanks for the quick reply :-)

I kind of realised it was pretty outdated when I started looking into this, but on the other hand, the car is driving without any problems, so I'm a bit hesitant to change anything. However your instructions are so fine, so I'll definately give it a go.
